Commodity interventions in the grain market will begin on August, 4th, 2010

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation since August, 4th, 2010 will begin commodity interventions in the market of grain for the regions which have suffered from a drought. Elena Skrynnik on July, 21st has informed on it the Minister of Agriculture during carrying out of selector session of a staff on the organisation of the help to the agricultural manufacturers who have suffered from a drought. According to E.Skrynnik, grain of intervention fund will be realised to the organisations which are engaged in animal industries and poultry farming, and also the processing and flour-grinding enterprises. According to the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, Open Society «Incorporated grain company» will start accreditation of the organisations for participation in the exchange auctions on the National commodity exchange since July, 26th, 2010. During the exchange auctions of realisation is subject more than 3 million tons of fodder grain of a crop 2005 and 2008 and food grain of a crop of the 2005 located, first of all, on elevatorah in suffered from drought and regions adjoining to them. Earlier the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation had been confirmed levels of the initial prices for carrying out of commodity interventions in the market the grains corresponding to the prices of its purchase in intervention fund taking into account the VAT.
